My approach is integrative with the weight on person-centred. As an integrative psychotherapist I draw on a range of thinking, ideas and techniques including those of mindfulness, attachment, compassion focussed, psychodynamic and cbt. The person-centred approach focusses on the relationship and it is this - our therapeutic relationship - that is at the heart of my work.
Whatever the reason that brings you to therapy, the process aims at providing this chance for you to express and explore your feelings, thoughts and beliefs and work towards living life in a way that feels more fulfilling to you. It is often by exploring together in therapy and gaining some insight into why we feel and behave as we do, that we can enable change to take place.
